Spirit Bird
poem by Dani Knoph Davis
When the blue hour
blankets the tree of life,
and paints the light we
knew on water, memories ago,
then you soar above us,
then we search for your
immeasurable light
that left us in the dark,
after it whispered, pick a day
to make a good memory.
Just start with one.
